I, Jennie Ross am a most-of-the-time photographer, a sometimes retoucher, a frequent builder and planter of things, a traveler when time allows, and I really like drawing and surfing and friendship too. I apologize for the lack of updates on this site- it has either been too nice out or I have been working too hard on projects for clients to show you all of the things, but I can assure you that there are many more things to see. You may see of them on gallerstock.com by searching my name, or looking for my instagram @jennieross.
If you google me, you will find a number of other Jennie Ross'; one seems to be a very pretty blond model, and the other appears to be a wedding photographer. I am neither of those things (except when my favorite people ever get married but that's different). After graduating NYU's Tisch school of photography in 2005, I got my start as a retoucher, and along with teaching undergraduate seminars on Photoshop and Lightroom at UCLA, working full time for David Lachapelle, collaborating with multiple artists to create monographs during a period of employment at Steidl in Gottingen, Germany,I feel so lucky to have helped worked with artists and institutions such as Vogue, Fader Magazine, Flaunt Magazine, Garage Magazine, The Last Magazine, The New Yorker Magazine, New York Magazine, Outdoor Magazine, Paper Magazine, Vanity Fair, Vice, Robert Bergman, Guy Bourdin, Ellen Brooks, Jeff Burton, Patrick Demarchelier, Tierney Gearon, Nick Knight, Robert Polidori, James Welling, Steven Wilkes, William Curtis Rolf, Sam Taylor Wood, Fullscreen, 72 and Sunny, Media Arts Lab, Epilogue Inc. and many more.
